Our balloon flights in the county of Hertforshire begin at our Baldock launch site from where you will get magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. The Jacobean house, gardens and park of Hatfield House and of Knebworth House, famous for it’s rock concerts, are two major landmarks in this area with the fabulous views of the Chilterns beyond.
Location & Facilities
Baldock is situated off the A1(M) North of Stevenage. The balloon ride launch site is on the A507 Buntingford Road heading out of Baldock. There is no toilet facility. This field is kept locked so if you arrive early, you may not be able to gain entry until the balloon crew arrives. This Hertfordshire site is ideal for passengers travelling out of North London and surrounding areas, as far as Cambridge.
